Theme: People and Places of Polk County

We are very excited to announce this collaboration with Destroyer Media on our first photo contest and exhibition. Our call for submissions is now open to all Central Florida photographers. We are looking for your best photographs taken in Polk County.
Selected photographs will be featured in an upcoming issue of the Haven and LKLD magazines, and two photos will be featured on the magazine covers. Also, participating photographers will have a chance to share their work in a gallery show occurring during the June First Friday event in Winter Haven.

We request that submissions be limited to three (3) photographs per entrant. To be considered, photographs must have been taken by the entrant in Polk County within the last year.
Preference will be given to photographs that fit the theme and are distinctly representative of or tell a story unique to Polk County. Creativity and personal interpretation is encouraged. Selections will be made by the team at Destroyer Media and Marketing with consultation from Central Florida Photo Club.
Entrants who have a photograph selected will be notified by mid-May. All photographs that are selected will need to be printed, prepared for display (including framing as needed and prepped for wall hanging), and dropped off in Winter Haven by June 1. Additional details will be provided.
A reception for the gallery will be held on Friday, June 6, during the Winter Haven First Friday event!
